Alyelhaye (Yulay) "Singing Together" - Music Program

Yipirinya School and The Song Room have recently teamed up to deliver a 6 month in-school music program at Yipirinya. This program has been extremely successful in engaging the students and the School wants the program to stay!!
The partnership music program between Yipirinya and The Song Room has been appropriately named "Alyelhaye" (pronounced Yulay) which is a Central Arrernte word meaning "singing together". The program combines the School's values with The Song Room's researched programs to bring music to some of the most disadvantaged indigenous children in Australia. The program uses creative ways to engage students at School through the performing arts.
The financial contributions from the names and businesses below have gone directly will help fund the Alyelhaye Music Program for a further 12 months.
